Chelation therapy is a specialized medical infusion designed to help the body remove heavy metals and support cardiovascular health.

How It Works:
The chelating agent EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid) binds to heavy metals and minerals in the bloodstream — such as lead, mercury, chromium, iron, copper, aluminum, nickel, and cobalt — forming stable compounds that are safely eliminated through the urine.

Potential Therapeutic Benefits:

  • Heavy Metal Detoxification: assists in removing toxic metals stored in tissues and organs

  • Cardiovascular Support: helps reduce arterial plaque and improve circulation

  • Cholesterol & Homocysteine Balance: supports heart health by lowering oxidative stress and lipid buildup

  • Calcium Regulation: binds with excess calcium deposits, supporting vascular flexibility

Important Details

Requires Consultation with a provider from Meta Medical, who will determine if Chelation Therapy is appropriate for you.

  • Once clients have been seen by a provider and cleared for Chelation, your first infusion will be scheduled.

  • After this first session, you will be given a 24 hour Urine Collection container with instructions to obtain a urine sample at home. Once results are received, our provider will review and follow up with your regarding results and recommendations

  • What is the 24-Hour Urine Test Looking At?

Think of this test like a backstage pass to your body’s metal-detox abilities. Chelation acts a bit like a magnet — helping pull stored toxic metals out of your tissues so we can actually measure what’s hiding below the surface.

The lab then evaluates levels of heavy metals such as:

    • Lead

    • Mercury

    • Cadmium

    • Arsenic

    • Aluminum

    • Nickel

    • Uranium (yes, that one too)

These metals can accumulate over time from water, food, air, dental fillings, occupational exposure, and more — and may contribute to symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, hormone disruption, headaches, and metabolic issues.

This test helps your provider determine:

    ✅ What metals are present
✅ How high the levels are
✅ How well your body is releasing them
✅ How many treatments will be most beneficial

Blood levels aren't always a reliable indicator of stored toxicity (metals love to hide in bones, organs, and fat tissue), so this method gives a clearer map of your internal landscape.

To support safety throughout treatment, routine bloodwork is completed every 3 months to monitor kidney function and ensure your detox pathways are happy and resilient.

    Infusion Duration: ~3 hours

**please note, scheduling a consult does not guarantee treatment.
